The Barbadian 1 dollar coin is a copper-nickel standard circulating coin weighing 10g. This larger version of the one dollar Barbadian coin on the obverse side has the arms of Barbados with the country name below and the date divided on both sides with the wording ‘1979 PRIDE AND INDUSTRY BARBADOS’. The back side of the coin shows the national fish of Barbados – the flying fish.
