This nickel plated iron minted 1 Franc coin depicts a portrait of King Albert II facing left with an outline around the back of his head and his name below on the obverse side. The lettering ALBERT II is also on the coin. The reverse side of the coin is very simple in design. It shows the value in the centre, the date above and lettering BELGIE in Dutch below.
