Belgian Franc coins were issued in 12 different denominations by the Royal Belgian Mint. Included in this series of minted Belgian Franc coins was this 10 Belgian Francs coin (Baudouin). This series of ten Belgian Franc coins (Baudouin) were first minted in 1969 and in 1985 were withdrawn from circulation.
This 10F Belgian (Baudouin) silver coloured coin has the head of King Baudouin I facing to the left on the obverse side. The reverse side of the 10-franc Belgian coin (Baudouin) shows the Belgian coat of arms which divides the value with the country name in Dutch above and the date below, and the privy mark and mintmark on either side. These 10F Belgian franc (Baudouin) coins were last minted in the year 1979 and in 1985the value of the coin was lost.
