Belgian Franc coins were issued in 12 different denominations by the Royal Belgian Mint. Included in this series of minted Belgian Franc coins was this 20 Belgian Francs coin (BaudouinI). This series of twenty Belgian Franc coins (Baudouin) were first minted in 1980 and in 2001 were withdrawn from circulation.
This 20F Belgian (Baudouin) bronze coloured, nickel brass coin on the obverse side has the head of the late King of Belgium, Baudouin I facing left. On the reverse side of the coin is an olive branch and value. The Dutch lettering BELGIE also is stamped on the coin.
