This £60 paper banknote is printed in black ink on cream paper and is printed on one side only, with the reverse left blank. A handwritten serial number is present near the top of the note.

The place and date of issue are visible as London, 12 August 1747, indicating later circulation or validation markings applied during the note’s lifetime. An engraved ornamental denomination panel is partially visible, consistent with the scroll-style panels used on other high-denomination White Notes of the period. Handwritten cashier signatures and additional ink annotations appear in the lower portion of the surviving note, confirming authorisation and value.
