British Decimal New Half Penny Coin

The United Kingdom Royal Mint issued British Pound coins in 16 different denominations. Included was this British decimal new half penny coin. These minted coins are part of the pre-decimal and withdrawn Pound Sterling coins series. In 1971 these 1/2p coins were first minted by the Royal Mint and in 1984 were withdrawn from circulation.
