Canadian dollar banknotes were issued in different denominations by the Bank of Canada including this 2 Canadian dollar banknote (Inuit scenes of Canada). This 2 CAD banknote forms part of the withdrawn series of Canadian dollar banknotes. This 2 CAD banknote was issued in 1974 and in 1986 were withdrawn from circulation.
This deux Canadian dollar paper banknote is orange in colour. On the obverse side is a red frame decorated with abstract shapes in which the “2” values are presented, the coat of arms of Canada and a portrait of Elizabeth II, Queen of England and the Commonwealth. On the back an Inuit hunting scene on Baffin Island. Wording on the banknote:
