The 100 CFP Francs is a higher-value circulation coin of French Polynesia struck between 2006 and 2020. It is made of aluminium bronze, giving it a golden tone and a substantial feel at 10 g. The coin is round with a diameter of 30 mm, and its heavier alloy sets it apart from the lightweight aluminium minor denominations used across the territory. The obverse features a capped bust of Marianne facing left, with the date below. The legend reads “RÉPUBLIQUE FRANÇAISE” together with the initials of the issuing body, “I·E·O·M” (Institut d’émission d’outre-mer), and the engraver’s mark “R JOLY”. The design was created by the engraver Raymond Joly.

The reverse depicts the island of Moorea with its mountain, native boats and palm trees, with the denomination shown above. The lettering reads “POLYNESIE FRANÇAISE 100 f” with the engraver’s signature “A GUZMAN”. This side was the work of Aleth Guzman-Nageotte.
