The reverse presents a Polynesian coastal scene, with palm trees to the left, the sea and a sailboat in the middle, and mountains in the distance. An outrigger boat sits in the foreground alongside a container of assorted fruit. The lettering reads “POLYNESIE 5 F. FRANÇAISE”, and this side was also engraved by Lucien Georges Bazor.
