Indian Rupee banknotes were issued in different denominations by the Reserve Bank of India including this 1000 Indian Rupee banknote (Gandhi). This 1000 INR banknote forms part of the withdrawn series of Indian Rupee banknotes. This 1000 INR banknote was issued in 2005 and in 2015 were withdrawn from circulation.
This one thousand Indian Rupee paper banknote is pink in colour. On the obverse side is India’s seal on the right side and Mahatma Gandhi.
