The Bank of Latvia issued Latvian Lats coins in different denominations. Included in this series of Latvian Lats coins is this 10 Santimu coin Latvia. These 0.1 LVL coins were first issued by The Bank of Latvia in 1992 and in 2013 were withdrawn from circulation.
The copper-nickel 3.25g coin on the obverse side has the small coat of arms of the Republic of Latvia. The reverse side has the numeral 10 is centred on the coin. The inscription SANTĪMU, arranged in a semicircle.
