The Bank Negara Malaysia issued Malaysian Ringgit coins in different denominations. Included in this series of Malaysian Ringgit coins is this 10 Sen (Second Series) coin Malaysia. 0.1 MYR coins were first issued by The Bank Negara Malaysia in 1989 and in 2011 were withdrawn from circulation.
This 10 Sen Malaysian coin on the obverse side shows the value which divides date below the Hibiscus flower blossom, the national flower of Malaysia. The reverse side has an image of Congkak (a game of Malay origin for two consisting of a board which has several ‘houses’ and ‘storehouses’).
