About Serbian Dinara Exchange
The Serbian Dinar (RSD) is the official currency of Serbia, used across the country for everyday transactions. We accept all denominations of Serbian Dinar banknotes and coins, including older series and damaged notes.
Current Serbian Dinar Banknotes
Serbia’s current banknotes are issued by the National Bank of Serbia and feature a range of denominations celebrating notable Serbian historical and cultural figures. The notes incorporate modern security features including watermarks, security threads, and colour-shifting ink. We accept all current-series banknotes, from the lower-value notes right through the higher denominations, and you do not need to sort them before sending.
Old Series & Damaged Notes
Unlike most high street exchanges, we accept older withdrawn series of Serbian Dinara as well as notes that have been torn, worn, or otherwise damaged. Notes must be at least 50% intact to be eligible. These are exchanged at a slightly reduced rate to account for the additional handling involved, but you will still receive a fair return rather than being left with currency you cannot use. If you have leftover currency from neighbouring countries too, we also exchange Bosnia and Herzegovina Convertible Marks and Macedonian Denari.
Serbian Dinar Coins
We also accept Serbian Dinar coins, which most banks and bureaux de change in the UK will refuse to take. Coins are exchanged at a slightly lower rate than banknotes due to the additional handling costs involved, but it is well worth sending them along with any notes rather than leaving them in a drawer.
