The ten-dinara coin is one of the higher circulating denominations of the Serbian dinar, part of the first coinage of the National Bank of Serbia in 2003. Struck in a nickel-brass alloy with a plain edge, it is a solid, everyday piece.
On the obverse, the decorative logo of the National Bank of Serbia is set at the centre, surrounded by the bank’s name in Cyrillic and Latin, ‘НАРОДНА БАНКА СРБИЈЕ · NARODNA BANKA SRBIJE’.
On the reverse, the Studenica Monastery is depicted, with a large numeral 10, the word ‘ДИНАРА · DINARA’ above and the year 2003 below.
