The one-dollar coin of Singapore’s Third Series, introduced in 2013, is the highest denomination of the current coinage. It is a bimetallic piece with a golden-coloured centre and a silvery outer ring, and carries the microprinted lettering ‘MAJULAH SINGAPURA’ on its edge as a security feature.
On the obverse, the Lion Head symbol of Singapore is shown at the centre, with the country name ‘SINGAPORE’, the year and floral filigree ornament drawn from national motifs.
