Slovakian 100 Koruna Banknote Issued 1996

Slovak Koruna banknotes were issued in different denominations by the National Bank of Slovakia including this 100 Slovak Koruna banknote. This 100 SKK banknote forms part of the withdrawn series of Slovak Koruna banknotes. This 100 SKK banknote was issued in 2004 and in 2009 the 100 SKK was withdrawn from circulation.
This one hundred Slovakian Koruna standard banknote on the obverse side shows a carving of the Madonna from the Altar of Birth in St. Jacob´s Church at Levoca. This Gothic ornamental sculpture was the work of the medieval artist Master Pavol of Levoca. On the reverse side is an image of the church of St. Jacob and the city hall of the town of Levoca where master Pavol was active. Lettering on the paper banknote is Národná Banka Slovenska.
