10 Spanish Pesetas First Issued 1983

The Banco de España issued Spanish Peseta coins in different denominations. Included in this series of Spanish Peseta coins is this Spanish 10 Pesetas coin – Juan Carlos I type. These 10 ESP coins were first issued by the Banco de España in 1983 and in 2002 were withdrawn from circulation.
This 10 ESP Juan Carlos I coin is copper-nickel and weighs 4g. On the obverse side of the 10ESP coin is a portrait of Juan Carlos I. The reverse side shows the Spanish Coat of Arms.
