This 100 CHF banknote forms part of the withdrawn series of Swiss franc banknotes. This 100 CHF banknote was issued in 1907 and was later withdrawn from circulation in Switzerland.

This 100 CHF paper banknote is predominantly blue and pale green in colour. On the obverse side is a standing female allegorical figure representing Helvetia, positioned on the left and holding a spear while resting her other hand on a shield bearing the Swiss cross. On the right is a seated cherub figure holding a shield displaying the value “100”. The central panel contains the issuing text SCHWEIZERISCHE NATIONALBANK together with the denomination written in three languages — Hundert Franken, Cent Francs and Cento Franchi. At the top right is a red Swiss cross seal, and the design features elaborate engraved borders, floral ornaments and official signatures along the lower section.

On the reverse of the note is a large ornamental composition with the value “100” displayed in all four corners. The centre panel shows the denomination in three languages — Cent Francs, Hundert Franken and Cento Franchi — surrounded by dense guilloché patterns. On either side are inward-facing classical female profile portraits enclosed within circular medallions, a key security feature used on early Swiss National Bank issues.
