Weighing 9.4 g with a diameter of 29.2 mm, it is a substantial coin that served as a low-value denomination in everyday transactions. Its bronze composition and many-sided form made it easy to distinguish by touch and sight.
The obverse carries the “Central Bank of Tunisia” legend together with the Gregorian and Islamic dates. The inscription is in Arabic script, with the dates given as “2013 – 1434”.
