Struck in a golden-toned alloy with a reeded edge, this example is dated 2015. It remains in everyday use for small change across Turkey.
On the obverse appears the head of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk facing left, set within an inner circle, with the legend “TÜRKİYE CUMHURİYETİ”, the Republic of Turkey, curving around the rim.
On the reverse, a large numeral “10” fills the field over scrolling ornament, with a small crescent and star above and the value “KURUŞ” and the date “2015” set beneath.
